Waukee Days

The boys caught the parade in Waukee for the first time this year. As with any parade, they got way too much candy.

Parker and Spencer also took part in the bicycle safety course.

Trip to Adventureland

Amy and the boys took a trip to Adventureland. Needless to say, they had a very good time.

Big Helpers

For some reason, Justin always gets plenty of help when it's time to mow the lawn.

This summer, the boys figured out that when daddy bags the grass he has to get the wagon out to haul the lawn refuse bags. And of course, that means the boys need a wagon ride too.

"The Project"

Dave and Justin spent much of the spring, summer and fall replacing the siding on the house. They also replaced two new big windows on the front of the house.

Once the siding was hung, it was time to paint and caulk. It was ALOT of work, but now that it's done, it sure looks nice. Not to mention by doing it ourselves, we saved over $15,000.

The CyHawk Trophy is back in Ames!!!

Iowa State took on Iowa at Jack Trice today for the always anticipated inner state rivalry game. It will be the best game all year and we were there!!! The Iowa State football team played an amazing game and held Iowa back for a 15-13 win! Win or Lose we are always ISU fans but today was a sweet day to be an ISU fan. We are proud of our Cyclone football team.

Trip to the Zoo

We topped off the end of the summer with a trip to the Blank Park Zoo. Papa and Grandma were babysitting Kai that day so he got to go too. Our friends Dawn and Kyle met us there with their three boys. It was hot but we all enjoyed ourselves. The zoo has made a lot of improvements and it looks great.
