Okoboji Vacation? Sorta

Papa, Grandma, and I took the boys to Okoboji for a short vacation and to attend the Timmons Family Reunion.

The reason I questions the word vacation?

• Three boys under the age of 7
• 1 Cutty's cabin the size of a shoe box, with a broken lock on the door
• 4 trips to Walmart in 4 days
• Foam Mattresses

The new indoor water park was great. Definitely, a weekend getaway. It was great to see everyone at the reunion and play a round of golf. Lastly, Arnold's Park Amusement Park was enjoyable as well. However, I learned I am no longer able to ride the til-ta-whirl 3 times in a row and then ride the swings. I get nauseous just thinking about it.

3 Wieses+3 Vanderhoefs=6 Giggling Cousins

Justin's family came down and up to celebrate Jim and Jan's 40th Wedding Anniversary this weekend. The cousins had a great time together. They played on the slip and slide, swing set, and down in the toy room all day. A grand time was had by all.

Birthday #2 -It's Cooper's turn!

Another birthday celebration and another reason for ice cream cake. YUMMY! Cooper had a terrific day. We spent time at the pool with his brother, Spencer and his friend, Noah. He skipped most of his afternoon nap, which we learned we will never do again but other than that it was a great day. He received some great gifts including a new John Deere tractor, swim trunks, Buzz Lightyear Ride on Toy, a book, and a Lego type farm set. He also got a microphone which his brother Spencer took over as soon as he set it down. He thought the whole present this was awesome. We also had a family get-together Saturday night and he received a Spiderman Potato Head, Mrs. Potato Head, and a new beach towel.

As a side note Spencer doesn't think August can come soon enough. After watching both his brother's celebrate their birthdays he is more than anxious for his birthday.
