I don't need a nuk!

Since Cooper was born I have been so disappointed that he would not take a nuk. I was spoiled with Parker and Spencer because they both took a nuk and it helped them sleep through the night. For the past couple of months Justin and I have been waiting for the "night" to arrive when we get full nights sleep. We didn't think it was ever going to happen then we started to notice that Cooper had a attachment to his left thumb. Our prayers have been answered now that he can more easily find his hand and thumb we are finally passed the nightly feedings. YEAH! SLEEP!

My Mom thinks I am the cutest pumpkin ever!

Happy Halloween!

As you can see Justin and the boys carved their first pumpkins together. Parker picked out the faces and Justin carved. Spencer just stuck his hands inside to make a mess. They were pretty proud of their pumpkins when all was said and done. They all even took time for a picture with their pumpkin masterpieces.

Montessori Halloween Party

Parker and Spencer's pre-school had their annual Halloween Party today. The boys had so much fun. The had a costume parade, lots of crafts, songs, and story-telling. I brought juice boxes and treat bags for Spencer's class. For Parker's class we brought treat bags. They came home with more candy and treat bags than we will ever be able to eat without all our teeth falling out.

I just keep growing and growing!

Cooper had his 4-month check-up today! He weighed 19 lbs & 12 ozs. He was 26 1/2 inches long. That put him in the 95% for his age. Dr. Williams said we could try cereal twice a day instead of once a day to see if he would start sleeping through the night. If that doesn't do it, he thinks he could be ready for solid foods. He is a very busy baby and talks constantly. He already has a different personality than his brothers. He is pictured above in his jumperoo that his Grandpa Jim and Grandma Jan gave him.

Soccer season comes to an end.

Parker played his last soccer game today. It was about 50 degrees but he had a great time. After the game the team met at Pizza Palace for fun and games. Coach Ben gave all the players a really neat medal and Parker was named "Most Improved." Parker hopes he can be on Coach Ben's team again next year.

Just a couple of good looking guys!

Just a couple of guys, hanging out enjoying some yogurt. Parker and Spencer have really been enjoying the warm weather that October has offered.

Parker is still playing soccer. His last game is 10/23. He has improved so much over the season. We are really looking forward to seeing him play in the spring. He really enjoys helping with Cooper. He thinks it is pretty cool when Mommy does up a bottle and he gets to feed him.

Spencer is still Spencer. A completely different person than his older brother. He likes to push the extreme. Pushing our buttons to see how much he can get away with but smiling at us the whole time. He is especially protective of his baby brother. He still calls him baby and has yet to use his name. However, he can use the words "no" and "mine" very well. Oh, and I have to mention Barney. Barney is a special person in our house and Spencer likes to take him everywhere. I think that if he could carry the TV playing a Barney video, he would do it.

My New Toy!

Grandma bought me this awesome new toy. I like to grab things and pull. Sometimes I even like to pull my Mom's hair. Now that Grandma bought me this new toy I think that I am suppose to stick to pulling on it.

Cooper's Baptism

Cooper was baptized today at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Our close friends Kyle and Dawn Hageman were Cooper's sponsors. It was a beautiful day and Cooper smiled at Pastor Burcham the entire time. It was as if Cooper understood every word that Pastor was saying. After the baptism we had a really nice lunch with Poppa & Grandma, Dawn & Kyle, Grandpa & Grandma Great Johns, Great Uncle Randy & Great Aunt Kim, friends Lynn & Brandon, Uncle Mike, Aunt Stacie, & cousin Kiersten as well as Justin, the boys, and myself.
